The Votemaster

Click for www.electoral-vote.com
In 2004 and 2006, when the national political campaigns got really busy, some of us checked, first thing each morning, on a great website run by a mysterious, anonymous, and wise seer called The Votemaster. The site was grounded in hard data like polling results and financial reporting, converted into sensible projections, insightful analyses, and educated guesses. Most predictions were absolutely correct.

After the last election, the Votemaster was revealed to be Andrew S. Tanenbaum, noted professor of computer technology on the faculty of Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Dr. Tanenbaum is also the author of many well-respected books on computer science.

Good news: The Votemaster is back. As 2008 starts, The Votemaster will be a daily MUST-READ site, offering the best ongoing analysis on U.S. political races: News from the Votemaster.
